Reasonable Visuals

Reasonable Visuals started with a one-off visualizer I built for a song I wrote. I wanted to see the instruments drive geometric shapes in real time, so I put together a quick prototype that mapped MIDI tracks to visual parameters. The result was enough to convince me the idea deserved a real tool.

The app lets you build layered visuals from geometric patterns—grids, spirals, phyllotaxis, text, and more—and link any parameter to audio or MIDI so each instrument can drive its own layer. You can stack effects and distortions on top, animate with keyframes, and export the result as images or video.
